Things Forbidden by Government You Wouldn’t Believe

Every country’s government makes its own laws and rules that might be seen as unacceptable in other countries. Our list consists of some of the most outrageous things that have been forbidden by the government. You will be surprised by the things that have made their way onto our list.

1. China- Game Consoles

Things Forbidden by Government You Wouldnt Believe
You must be really surprised to read this, since most game consoles are made in China. It a well-known fact that prisoners in Chinese prisons are forced to play the World of Warcraft so that the government can sell their loot to other players. The reason is that the government was concerned that their youth would waste time on playing games instead of working. Even though this ban was enforced it was ineffective.

2. Australia- Adult movies with small Breasts

It isn’t easy to be a woman in Australia, at least a woman with small breasts. And in case you are a guy who likes to watch adult movies featuring small breasts you are considered to be a child molester. It is the government’s opinion that small breast give the impression of being underage.

3. China- Avatar in 2D

Another ban by Chinese government says that the movie can be seen only in 3D. However, there are very few 3D movie theaters in China so it resulted in the ban of the movie. They probably didn’t like the idea of people rising against an imperialistic force. Monkey see-monkey do.

4. Russia- Emo Clothing

It is one thing when your parents tell you what to do, but when the government does it takes things to a completely new level. The Russian government decided to put a ban on Emo clothing in order to reduce the number of teenage suicides. The government proclaimed it to be “a treat to national stability”.

5. China- Reincarnation Without Prior Consent

This must be one of the most preposterous banes, yet. Banning someone to reincarnate before receiving prior consent is a measure of trying to control the Tibetan Buddhists. Playing with one man’s beliefs might not be the smartest thing to do.
