Bottega Veneta Spring/Summer 2011

For Spring/Summer 2011 collection, Tomas Maier's pieces for Bottega Veneta are ease and unstructured.
"I don't like making clothes for red-carpet events," Maier said and he added, "I like real life.". In the collection, all pieces are not meant for a red carpet moment but some could be.

Versace Spring/Summer 2011

For Spring/Summer 2011, knee-length A-line skirt from the 90's is back to Donatella Versace's vocabulary, sophisticated and yet sexy and captivating for all Versace clients. Sporty but clean look, not a Donatella's sexy and provocative personal style. Versace's house logo, Greek key dominantly present in the collection, from appliqué and waistline. But it seems that the goddess dress will never be absent from Versace's pieces each season.

Prada Spring/Summer 2011

"I'm tired of minimalism, I asked myself, 'How can I do minimal Baroque?'", " Exaggerated simplicity"-- Miuccia Prada

Simple shape, explosive vibrant color palettes, stripes, monkeys, Carmen Miranda silhouette, and yes....BANANAS! Striking and yet captivating collection. For Sping/Summer 2011, Prada's pieces for her latest collection are minimal baroque. Prada opened the show with electrifying colors like orange, green, and blue, monkeys grasping the waist, nurse uniforms, and prisoner or should I say Lady GAGA should wear in her telephone video?
